Do you need an insulated floor in your walk-in?

Yes. If it is a freezer, the floor can be an insulated slab or a pre-manufactured floor. If it’s a cooler, you need an insulated floor only if there is a basement under the walk-in. Otherwise, with a slab on grade, an insulated floor is not needed.
